Founded in 1914 by Ferdinand Grah and his son Rudolph Grah, Grah Safe & Lock has grown in concert with the city of San Diego. With over a century of experience serving the local community, our family business has thorough knowledge of the specific security needs of San Diego citizens and businesses.

Grah’s Professional Influence in History
In 1927 when Charles Lindbergh, the Legendary “Lone Eagle”, was building the Spirit of St. Louis, he turned to the finest craftsmen. One of them was Rudy Grah. For security, Lindbergh chose Grah Safe and Lock.
Rudy Grah installed the locks on the Spirit, helping create a piece of American history. Since 1914, Grah has evolved with the security industry. We now work with all forms of security from historical restorations to the latest in high technology. Grah continues to grow with the times!

Tips for Saving Money
If you can, bring it into our shop.
When you bring it to us, you save on trip charges. Trip charges are the charges we charge to help cover the cost of fuel, drive time, auto wear and tear, and insurance. We are located at 939 University Ave. San Diego, CA 92103. We are off the I-163, on the corner of 10th and University.
Do you plan to give employees keys?
Employee theft accounts for over 30% of all business losses. If you plan to give your employees keys, switch to a high security keys that can not be copied without your permission. The initial expense is a small price to pay for the long term security protection, and it could save you thousands of dollars in theft and damage losses.
